Welcome to Doeksak! By ordering from us or browsing our website, you’re agreeing to the terms below. We’ve kept it simple, honest, and fair—just like our bags.
1. When You Order from Us
Placing an order with Doeksak means you’ve read and accepted these terms and conditions. It also means you understand and accept our refund, warranty, and shipping policies. We aim to be transparent about what you’re getting, and we appreciate the same from you.
2. About Our Bags
All Doeksak bags are handmade with care using genuine leather and quality canvas. Because we work with real materials (not mass-produced synthetics), each bag may look slightly different. Leather might have natural marks or colour variations—that’s what gives it character and makes your bag one-of-a-kind.
3. Honest Pricing
All prices on our site are listed in South African Rands (ZAR). We do our best to keep things fair and affordable while staying true to the quality we offer. Prices may change over time as materials and production costs change.
Full payment is required when you place your order. If your payment fails or is reversed, we won’t be able to process your order.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Once payment reflects, we aim to get your order out as quickly as possible. Delivery times will depend on your location and courier schedules.
Please double-check your address at checkout—we can’t take responsibility for delays or losses due to incorrect details.
International customers: You’re welcome here! Just note that customs duties, taxes, or import fees are your responsibility.
5. Warranty Policy
We offer a 6-month warranty on our leather bags. This covers any defects in materials or workmanship—not general wear and tear.
Covered:
- Stitching that comes undone
- Hardware failure (like zips or buckles) due to manufacturing
Not covered:
- Scuffs, scratches, marks from regular use
- Water or chemical damage
- Bags damaged from overloading or misuse
- Third-party repairs or alterations
If something goes wrong within this time, send us an email with clear photos and proof of purchase:Â info@doeksak.co.za
We’ll assess the issue and guide you on the next steps. If your warranty claim is approved, we’ll repair or replace the item (depending on what’s possible).
6. Returns & Exchanges
Because we make each bag with care and on a small scale, we don’t accept returns for change of mind. If your bag is defective or damaged on arrival, please let us know within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll make it right.
7. Product Images
Photos on our website are as accurate as possible, but lighting, screens, and leather tones may vary. If you're unsure about a product before buying, feel free to reach out with questions—we're happy to help.
8. Using Our Site
All content on this site, including photos, designs, and logos, belongs to Doeksak. Please don’t copy, use, or reproduce anything without our written permission.
9. A Word on Responsibility
We put our hearts into every Doeksak. We can’t be held liable for how the bag is used after purchase, including damage caused by improper care or accidents. Please follow our care guidelines to keep your bag looking great.
10. Legal Bits
These terms are governed by South African law. We're committed to working within the Consumer Protection Act and believe in treating customers with integrity.
